LockscreenToggles 01

LockscreenToggles is a brand new way to toggle various functions directly from the iPhone’s Lock screen. It works by using swipe gestures. For instance, a simple swipe from right to left on the Lock screen clock reveals the toggles. A simple swipe down on the toggles reveals a list of available toggles.

With LockscreenToggles, you are required to have five toggles configured to display at once on the Lock screen, and these can be selected from a list of ten different toggles. Take a look inside for more insight…

LockscreenToggles 02

LockscreenToggles includes the following available toggles:

  • Flashlight
  • Do Not Disturb
  • Wi-Fi
  • Hotspot
  • Respring
  • Bluetooth
  • Location Services
  • Orientation Lock
  • Airplane Mode
  • Reboot

The list of toggles can be easily rearranged using a tap, hold, and slide gesture while the list of toggles are visible. For a 1.0 release, LockscreenToggles performs pretty well, but I did notice a hiccup with the Do Not Disturb toggle. Sometimes when you tap the DND toggle, it doesn’t light up even though DND is enabled.

LockscreenToggles 03

In this current iteration, LockscreenToggles doesn’t feature any settings. Here’s hoping that the developer adds some additional functionality, like the ability to tap and hold a toggle to be taken to the section of the Settings app that it corresponds to. Despite these few complaints, there’s no denying that LockscreenToggles is a nice looking tweak with lots of room for future growth. I see a lot of potential for this one, and with that in mind, I can recommend its purchase at $0.99.

If you want to try LockscreenToggles for yourself, then head over to Cydia’s BigBoss repo where it can be had today. Be sure to share what you think about the tweak down below in the comments.

    Works with SubtleLock?

    • yes it does work perfectly with subtleLock πŸ™‚

      • iospixel

This, Atom, SubtleLock, abstergo. I’ve relclaimed my lockscreen whilst still, I feel maintaining that polished iOS look. I do like Forecast but its worth it for me.

With vertex and badger ill reclaim my springboard.

      • my lockscreen now has lockinfo, subtle lock, atom, and this tweak ( Lockscreen toggles ) & i’m pretty comfortable with that .. i’m only waiting for more toggles for it to remove sb settings and free some room in lockinfo πŸ˜€

      • iospixel

I’ve never had a good experience with SBsettings. Felt ugly. Havnt run it since my i4

      • i had the same feeling always but lately i decided to install it an found a nice theme .. but lockscreen toggles is a great alternative only waiting for the rest of toggles to remove sb settings .. currently i have both πŸ˜€

      • It doesnt work with Locksreen Clock Hide.. There should be an activator method to invoke using buttons or gestures..

  • Markus Hudobnik

Sweet. Pretty useful. I wonder if it is compatible with SubtleLock

Edit: It works with subtle lock!

  • Its great, but it clashes with Atom and Active Dock. When you slide up to unlock, it still shows the time in the back underneath “Enter Passcode” and once you receive an email or call, the icon bounces behind any app that’s above it. Never happened before until I installed LockscreenToggles.

Other than that, its a great tweak.

Would be nice if it worked with subtlelock or grabby…

    • it does work with SubtleLock

      • Matthew Ross

Thank you for the heads up πŸ™‚ I saw your remark and it does indeed work and works rather well πŸ™‚

  • Matthew Ross

I wonder if it works with grabby…

    • It’s like asking ”I wonder if it works with the springboard”
It has nothing with grabby to do, of course it works..

      • Matthew Ross

I should clarify I am sure that the programs work in the sense of they will run at the same time and not cause a massive error and restart. However what I was referring to when I asked if it works with Grabby is does it play nice with grabby and does it mesh well as far as how they both look.

As an example. Messages is a great tweak, I use it often however while it does “work” with grabby, grabby also causes some graphical glitches with messages. Now I am not saying it is either developers fault and it is something I can live with but it is not a seamless interaction which is what I was referring to.

As for the look I would imagine they go well together from a looks point of view.

Either way they are both great tweaks but saying that it works with grabby because my phone does not explore with errors when they are both installed is not what I was referring to.

  • Is this going to be compatible with iForecast?

  • Om Soni

Great tweak. Does it work with Forecast though?

    • Curtis

      No not for me.

    • Forecast compatbility= all my want. Or I can just use ISX and use the notification center to do toggles with NCSettings. πŸ˜‰

    • my first thoughts exactly. Toggles sometimes seem like a superfluous idea, albeit they are very cool

  • a good and useful tweak, but not worth sacrificing forecast over

  • Guest

It works great except there is a bug when you use it with Bulletin. If you set the Notification Center to transparent on the lock screen with Bulletin and you have LockScreenToggles installed, you will see the app that was last opened behind the transparent NC instead of the lock screen. Try it.

  • Great tweak !! .. and works great with LockInfo and subtleLock also .. hoping for more toggles and features in the near future πŸ™‚

  • Sahil

Why not just use battery doctor pro. B-)

    • because its a shitty, laggy and dirty written piece of software

      • I’ve never had any issues with it.

      • Are you serious? bdp is amazing

      • Sahil

Ur insane.. Bdp is superb.. And it’s got a lot of functionality like clearing ur ram and removing the badges and clearing the notification centre and clearing ur app switcher and I can just go on.. But the best part it’s free!! S

      • Guest

Yeah, I haven’t had any real Problems with it neither. till the last update. (evrything was kinda laggy) removed it because a lot of other guys on reddit also had this Problem. now my 4s runs smooth as f*ck a gain!

    • Ian

I love that app! It looks as if it should be on the Apple App Store..

  • Batter use BatteryDoctorPro. It has a big list of cute looking toggles and works in lockscreen too. Best part is it is free.

  • Gorgonphone

this is great for folks who don’t like SBsettings

  • aldo Cisneros

It doesn’t work with Forecast. It would be great to have both.

  • I like the GIFs

  • Muhammad

When I unlock my phone, then lock it, the clock disappears and only reappears when I respring my phone

  • Harley M

I would love a brightness setting too πŸ™‚

  • iospixel

I’ve been trying to emulate this for so long with a combination of other tweaks.

    The future is bright.

    Thank you!

  • I wish it more than 1 page and add settings

  • Diego GastΓ³n Milano

Anyone knows if it works with Flusterless and Torch?

  • Harley M

I only need 3 of the toggles though. Any ideas on how to change that?

  • bloodshed

i’m using subtlelock and isx, it’s frustrating when i swipe left to view the toggles, notification center is invoked unintentionally..i think isx grabber for invoking NC on the lock-screen is too sensitive, it keeps annoying me even when i try to clear notifications using Abstergo..hope there’s a fix for this, whether isx or subtlelock.

  • Difficult to see list of toggles underneath lockinfo

  • 3G and EDGS ….

  • D1M

Make it compatible with Forecast PLEAAAASE
