How to Easily Install Frash on Your iPhone

This morning I told you about a trick to install Frash on your iPhone. This can be a little cumbersome. My Twitter friend @egohot_dev sent me a tip that really automates the whole process.

Step 1: Make sure your iPhone is jailbroken. If it’s not, follow these instructions.

Step 2: Go to Cydia and install the following source: http://repo.benm.at/

Step 3: Install Frash from this repo.

Step 4: Reboot your iPhone. Done!

Much easier than doing it manually.

    yeah it works ,bfore i get only connection could not found when i press the flashbutton after install the frashpack from the repo , it finally works for me ,if u dont trust,check my pics at twitter

    my Cydia says that the modifications cannot be applied due to required dependencies or conflicts that cannot be automatically found or fixen

    I tried the frash download and all I’m getting is a black screen then it turns white. Already tried reinstalling and still haven’t had any luck.

    Installed fine but wouldn’t work on ip4 with 4.0. Reinstalled and still wouldn’t work. Then safari wouldn’t load any pages. Removed again. Will try later.

    if u have iMovie on ur device , then disable it ,otherwise it crashed Frash

      I think I get at least one or two jokes of the day from reading comments on this blog like this one:

      That just cracks me up. Especially the ‘i don’t get on’ part.

    Thanks man. The earlier post didn’t work for me but this did. Thanks! I finally get to use my iPhone like “I” intended to. I could play the mc donalds video game on my iphone 4 so it works good. Just a little slow when playing flash games but I’m not complaining.

    I am using 3GS. It work great. Maybe try update everything even cydia app.

    Didn’t on my IP4 IOS4.0.1. Just display the Flash text in the middle a grey square then just all. Touch the square, some time Safari quit, some time the square change white :(
    I’ve tried the 2 ways, manual as your previous post then auto from Cyia :( (

    Just a black box… and say the message Unexpected error… and dont show any flash..!

    Alright I figured out the problem why it wasn’t working on my 3GS . If u have imobilecinema get rid of it first then install frash . Hope this helps .

    I’ve installed it at one point and it worked on my iPhone4 on ios4.0. But then it stopped working! I know it’s installed but it doesn’t work. I have since been messing with every possible way to reinstall. I think there might be other conflicts arising….

    You can add repo.benm.at in cydia, in the manage sources, hit edit, hit the + to add source http://repo.benm.at

    No need to hook to the PC or Mac. I got it working on my iPhon4, a few errors here and there sometimes I click the area where the “flash boxes” are and it just disappears ? On NatGeo site I get sometimes errors we some errors can’t seem to full screen the videos? Getting a lot of white screens where the video is supposed to be

    3G on iOS 4.01 failed due to dependencies, it seems to want:

    gsc.armv7

    What on earth is that?

    It works on 3GS with a lot of flaws like youtube doesn’t work… But it’s version 0.02, give it some time.. When 1.0 will be released i bet it will work perfectly on the 3G,3GS and 4…

    I thought the 3GS has a ARM7 processor?

    only seems to work for ads and weebl and bob :( load up adobe’s or the BBC website and i just get a grey box with the word ‘Flash’ which i click then it’ll either just display a still image or a black box. nice try but i’ll make do without.

    Hmm any ideas what might be missing? Is the arm7-library from apple or is it installed by other JB-apps? It’s definitely an 3GS… It has the platform code N88AP and the model code MC131.

    So I installed it and the phone just doesn’t recognize it, I still get the lined-out play button sign instead of the flash, any suggestions?

    well i installed mines manually and it worked out right out the box. i tried this out just for the heck of it but ive been gettin along just fine without flash on my iphone. well everything seems to work fine…for ads (which i could careless about)…but thats all that worked. i tried playing youtube videos (worked fine before this) and now it just displays and unexpected error box once i click on it. it works on most flash game sites aswell but its hard playing a mouse and click game with just touchscreen so thats out the question also. all in all i see no point to keep this on my phone til theres a fix cause what i do most as far as flash on my iphone (which was none since day one) i can live without. just not seeing the point right now and i see why apple poses that flash isnt really relevent for this phone. i was glad in a way that falsh wasnt there cause less ads flashing in my face lol. just sayin’

    Does not work on my Iphone 3gs 4.01. When I open something in Flash the browser close and go back to homescreen.

    Its working smooth and fast on my iPhone 4 4.0.1 but honestly whats the use? You can’t play flash games or anything..They load up and run smooth and nice but you cant play them.
