The best feature of iPhone X will be the Super Retina OLED Display. If you want a sneak peak, just go to your local Best Buy and checkout an LG OLED UHD TV and then imagine it being shrunk to 5.8″ and in your pocket. It will be incredible.

Now, imagine that fancy new display, with a bunch of vibrant colors on your Lock and Home screens. Apple is thinking the same thing and their marketing videos prove it. Since the iPhone X announcement video, you have been contacting me to see when we would get a version for download. Look no further.

iPhone X video wallpapers

Apple announced the iPhone X with the marketing video seen above. A swirling mess of glitter and color fill up every little curved corner of the iPhone X, and it looks mouth watering. The video is actually a collaboration with WeAreColorful. The group is a collaboration between Oilhack and Thomas Blanchard. The artist painters combined to inspire moving artistic creations through innovative new techniques. Below is the video that inspired the iPhone X commercial.

The wallpapers, yes. Below, are wallpapers created from screenshots of the WeAreColorful video. The ratio is fairly narrow, which means optimized for iPhone X. However, these will work on any iPhone, so long as you zoom a bit, when setting the image as your wallpaper.

These wallpapers were created by @jérémygoulet. Goulet is a UI/UX designer and frontend dev. You can find more of his creativity on his personal website.

  • Nice! BTW Apple should offer that video up there as a Dynamic Wallpaper on the X.

    • Technocrz!

Yes we will get it with iPhone Xs the most powerful iphone apple made to date, u know bla bla bla, powerful enough to video up dynamic wallpaper

      • Jay

Most powerful? Its just as powerful as the 8 and 8 plus. Actually a little less… but don’t tell anyone, its a secret 🙂

      • appl3-1010

        less? what? no.

      • Jay

I guess you missed the geekbench scores that were posted

  • Dazz W

Just as ugly as the phone…

    • GCHQ

      You are Ugly

Though I like how the X looks but I went and got the 8Plus. The X is just too small for me. I ended up purchasing a super thin iPhone X case, then sat it on top of my 7Plus…too small.

Though the screen is “bigger” the phone itself is smaller. So it sits in the hand different and brings my hands closer while texting. Damn near like the current 8 model. I’ll wait for the bigger display next year.

Most people don’t realize it but the X screen is just taller, not actually bigger. The 8 plus still has to biggest screen overall.

      • Jay

Most people will not understand this due to the 5.5 and 5.8. You are 100% correct. The X will make you feel like you’re using and 4.7 in iPhone minus the home button but plus some rounded corners and an intruding notch.

      • Yes…

      • David Christian

Um, no. Simple math proves that the iPhone X screen is larger than the 8 plus.

        iPhone 8 Plus 1920×1080 at 401 ppi = 4.79 x 2.69 = total area of 12.89″
        iPhone X 2436×1125 at 458 ppi = 5.32 x 2.46 = total area of 13.09″

In overall screen size, adjusting for the difference in ppi, the iPhone X screen is still physically larger in total area, not to mention the better resolution. Whether you prefer slightly wider vs taller is subjective, however.

      • Cerberus The Wise

Math may show its *technically* bigger, it feels much closer to the non plus sized iPhones because of screen space lost to the “home” indicator and the top notch. It’s even more noticeable when viewing content in landscape mode.

Another side note I personally find interesting is that since the plus size iPhones are bigger, Apple adds a landscape mode for the apps on the home screen. The X doesn’t seem big enough for Apple to add this feature apparently.

    is this live wallpaper?

Finally played with the X a few days ago, I admit it looks nicer than I thought. For me personally, I did actually forget about the darn notch. It’s already been said though, it’s like an optical illusion for those thinking people are buying a larger screen, screen size appears larger in a smaller phone, but its more narrow. *The one thing I thought is that this phone was extremely slippery…but I wonder since my hands get dry this time of year, that didn’t help…and for a phone like this and how fragile it would be, a grippy case would be needed ASAP. The keyboard I noticed was narrow, almost squeezed in that narrow phone. I passed this up for now…MAYBE I will upgrade when stock becomes more available…maybe. I may just wait yet again until 2018. If there is a larger X coming out (wider phone matching the Plus models) I may got for that. Only fear with that is the price by Sept 2018 on this upgrade may be even more expensive…pushing $1200-1300 for the low end 64gb (or 128gb) model
