Satechi releases 7 port aluminum USB 3.0 hub that matches your Mac [giveaway]

Satechi 7-Port USB 3.0 Aluminum Hub

Satechi just released a new USB 3.0 hub for the Mac enthusiasts. Long have we waited for a quality USB port extender that would match the design and look of the brushed aluminum. The new 7 port hub is smooth and compact, offering ample high speed connections for your various devices. As a powered unit, it offers up to 5Gbps over the 3.0 connection and comes in either black or white options…

The drawback to the sleek design is obviously the power cable and USB connection cable. The black AC power cable connects on the right side of the hub while the white USB connection cable leaves from the left. What remains is a nice looking aluminum hub with two ugly plugs screwing everything up on the sides. If the two required cables connected on the backside, it would be the perfect desk companion.

Either way, it makes a functional and matching addition to your MacBook or iMac. I am quite tired of fumbling around behind my iMac every time I want to connect a thumb drive. Even better all of the ports offer blazing 3.0 speeds. You can pick up one of these new hubs for a pricey $54.99 on Amazon and that is down from a solid $69.99, or try to win one below.
