It’s a big day for Corona. After being updated this morning to fix the DRM issues in iBooks, Saurik just tweeted that the untether has been updated yet again, this time to resolve problems with the iPhone 4S running iOS 5.

If you’re having problems with iBooks on your jailbroken device, you can install Corona directly from Cydia.¬†If you’ve already installed Corona, you can simply update it via Cydia and you should be good to go.

  • Also need to install Corona if iTunes U and iBooks are crashing. Even if you jailbroke with absinthe or redsn0w.

Assuming you jailbroke with the latest version of redsn0w, you shouldn’t be having any iTunes U or iBooks issues anyway.

      • Not sure what version it was, but I couldn’t find anything on google about iTunes u.

  • Yeah… I keep adding a book to my iPhone and ibooks will open and all but it won’t show the books in my library. Any fix?

    What about iPad 2

  • Can you install Corona on top of a newly untethered jailbreak?

  • you install corona on top of redsn0w b4, you ended up restore your i4, this is confirmed..

  • Any update on when there would be a 4S running 5.0 unlock? I read back in November that an Ultras0w unlock for the newer basebands was almost ready. They were just waiting for d 4S jailbreak. Someone please fill me in. Thanks.

  • I tried to install Corona 1.0-8 on my 4S ios 5.0 but when I do it says that my device ios version is not supported… but in this post says that
supports iPhone 4Sincluding other A4 iOS devices jailbroken on 5.0 using redsn0w

  • I upgraded corona 1.0.8 and now when I reboot and goes to a non-jailbreak state, as if using semitether. I had to use just boot from redsn0w. any thoughts?

  • so nice…..
