The 2020 Euro Cup Championship games are finally kicking off next week after a long delay. It was originally meant to take place last year, but due to the Covid-19 pandemic, matches had to be postponed. If you’re a fan, then you probably want to stay on top of all the games, or at least the ones where your favourite teams are playing. The best way to keep track of the matches is to add the fixtures to your Calendar.
In this post, we’re going to show you how you can add the 2020 Euro Cup calendar to your iPhone, iPad or Mac. This way, you’ll receive a notification before the match, and will be prepared for it.
2020 Euro Cup fixtures calendar on iPhone, iPad and Mac
Despite the games being rescheduled to 2021, the competition is still called the 2020 Euro Cup. The games were supposed to start on June 12th and end on July 12th 2020. They will now begin on June 12th, with the final match scheduled for July 12th. A total of 24 European teams will play in the championship, which will be spread across 11 venues around Europe. The games will be played with special rules that adhere to Covid-19 protocols.
Now that the calendar for the fixtures is out, you can add to your Calendar on iPhone, iPad or Mac. You will basically add a calendar subscription, which will then notify you of the games. The process is fairly simply, and here’s how to do it.
1) Launch the website https://fixtur.es/en/euro-2020 from your browser on iPhone, iPad, or Mac.
2) Select Apple iCal as the calendar software.
On iPhone or iPad, when you click on the link, it’ll not open the Calendar app. Instead, you’ll be notified that the website wants to Add Calendar Subscription. Press OK to continue and you’ll get a notification saying that the events have been added. You can then tap Done and check your Calendar app for the added events.
3) On Mac, a new page will automatically open and ask your permission to launch the Calendar app.
4) In the Calendar app, click on the Subscribe button.
5) Make any changes if you want to, and make sure that Auto-refresh is enabled. You can set it as per your liking. Hit OK, and you’re all set.
You should now be subscribed to the 2020 Euro Cup fixtures calendar and will receive all updates. If there are changes to dates, the calendar will update it automatically. It will also show the game results for you. The timings for the games will be shown based on your time-zone, which is pretty helpful.
