Customize the Control Strip on Touch Bar MacBook Pro

The Touch Bar offers a lot of customisation, including the ability to add your preferred shortcuts and buttons. You can also add a shortcut that lets you take a screenshot with one tap. Here’s how to do that.

1) Launch System Preferences from the Apple menu bar.

2) Navigate to Keyboard and click on Customize Control Strip.

3) You can now select and move items to the Touch Bar. Find the Screenshot button and drag it down to the Touch Bar using the trackpad.

4) Place the Screenshot button anywhere on the Touch Bar.

And that’s it. You now have the Screenshot shortcut right on the Touch Bar.

How to take screenshot with Touch Bar

Now that you’ve placed the Screenshot button on the Touch Bar, all you need to do is tap on the button to start the screenshot feature. The Touch Bar will show you options for different kinds of screenshots. You can take a screenshot of your Mac display, or you can take a screenshot of a portion of the screen. Use the mouse to adjust the screenshot area and then click on the Capture button that you see on the screen.
