Half Lemons, tell.em, Wanna Selfie, and other apps to check out this weekend

This week, for our Apps of the Week roundup, we have a super handy recipe finder, an audio postcard-maker and a selfie faker. And as always, we’ve selected two new games for you to check out.

Half Lemons

Here is a super handy app that serves up recipes using only items you already have in your kitchen. Just enter your ingredients into the app, and it will serve up delicious recipes that include them. No funky substitutions, and definitely no trips to the store.

tell.em – audio postcards

I’m not crazy about the name, but the concept is kind of cool. This app allows you to layer your voice over images and other forms of content, making a sort of audio postcard. Give context to a meme, add details to a photo, explain a joke, and more!

Wanna Selfie

This app enables you to take your selfie game on the road. Using Google Maps features like Street View and panoramic photos, Wanna Selfie can super-impose your image in front of global landmarks. Check my IG, I actually just got back from France.

Monsters & Cherries: Arcade

This is essentially just a Mr. Pacman ripoff, but the quirky characters and complex level setups actually make for a good time. That’s it, that’s the game.

Say No! More

Described as the world’s first NPG (no!-playing game), in which you take on the role of an intern on a mission to change the world with the power of NO!. Honestly I’m not sure if this game is awesome or terrible, but I love the out-of-the-box thinking.
