Apple Music TV launches in Canada and the United Kingdom

In late 2020, Apple launched a new element to Apple Music, something called Apple Music TV. It’s designed to show off popular music videos, live shows, and much more, all on a rotating basis every single day. Think of it like MTV, back in the day.

The service was only available in the United States at launch, but that has changed today according to 9to5Mac. The report says Apple Music TV is now officially available in two additional countries: Canada and the United Kingdom. So, that’s the good news if you’ve been outside the U.S. and have been wanting to check out the feature since its debut last year.

The bad news, if you can call it that, is Apple hasn’t changed the way you access Apple Music TV. It’s still very, very buried in the TV app. To access it, users need to open the TV app and scroll down to the “Watch Now” page. There, users will find a carousel of Apple Music TV content to tune into.

Things are a bit easier in the Apple Music app, at least right now. With the expansion, Apple Music TV is now prominently displayed at the top of the Browse tab. That will probably change in the near future, though.

Apple Music TV will be promoting artists like Ed Sheeran, Stormzy, Little Mix, and others due to the launch in the United Kingdom.
