Jailbreak tweaks of the week: Alt5tore, Arkita, JellyLock Reborn, & more…

Following this week’s launch of the brand-new Taurine jailbreak for iOS & iPadOS 14.0-14.3, we have a lot of new jailbreakers joining our ranks. Fortunately for those who may not know where to start with their new jailbreak, this is a great place to start.

This roundup will encompass all the last jailbreak tweak releases and news tidbits from this past week, all in one convenient place — spanning Monday, March 29th to Sunday, April 4th.

As usual, we’ll kick things off by talking about our favorite releases first. Then, we’ll wrap everything else up in an outline afterward. So without further ado, let’s get started!

Our favorite releases this week

Alt5tore – FREE

Alt5store is an add on for the AltStore app that permits direct downloads and updates of the unc0ver jailbreak app via the app when connected to AltServer.

You can learn more about Alt5tore and how it works in our full review.

Arkita – $1.99

Arkita is a new tweak that allows jailbreakers to customize the aesthetics of their Lock Screen’s Now Playing widget in more ways than one.

Whether you’re interested in colorizing or resizing the Now Playing widget, the tweak offers a little something for everyone.

AV Orientation Lock – FREE

Sometimes when watching videos in bed, especially when laying sideways, your iPhone will rotate its display orientation in an unfavorable way.

AV Orientation Lock is a free jailbreak tweak that adds a Rotation Lock toggle button directly to iOS’ native video player to prevent such behavior.

You can learn more about AV Orientation Lock in our full review.

JellyLock Reborn – $1.99

JellyLock Reborn is a reincarnation of the original Android-inspired JellyLock tweak that enabled jailbreakers to access apps and shortcuts from their Lock Screen via a neat drag and drop joystick interface.
