Watch “Jump,” Apple’s beautiful new ad for the AirPods Pro

Apple has shared a new commercial on its YouTube channel, titled “Jump,” which promotes the various noise-canceling features of the AirPods Pro, its truly wireless earbuds priced at $249.

Running one minute and fifteen seconds long, the video advertisement is replete with nicely-done special effects as the camera follows a young dancer performing attractive moves on the bustling city streets while wearing his AirPods Pro and listening to music.

“Turn the world into your playground”

Watch the latest AirPods Pro ad right ahead.

“Turn the world into your playground with AirPods Pro,” reads the description.

The video shows several scenes of the dancer turning on Apple’s transparency mode—which mixes the background audio into your music—and clicking back to noise cancelation. The ad clearly pitches noise cancellation as the differentiating feature of the AirPods Pro.

The video is set to the song “Fallin’ Apart (Feat. Denzel Curry & Pell)” by Young Franco.

New AirPods coming later in 2021

Apple may be releasing a new pair of regular AirPods in the fall, according to the latest prediction from Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. The tentatively named “AirPods 3” should sport an AirPods Pro-like in-ear design with a shorter stem and swappable silicone ear tips.

Meanwhile, the AirPods Pro should be updated at some point in 2021 as well. The next AirPods Pro are thought to lose their stem or at least see it drastically shortened.

Kuo is expecting a 25 percent decline in AirPods shipments between the first and third quarter of this year due to a slew of inexpensive earbuds hitting the market and increased competition.
