Apple is now selling refurbished M1 MacBook Air models starting at $849

Well, that was fast. After launching in November of 2020, Apple is now selling refurbished models of the M1-equipped MacBook Air.

As noted today by MacRumors, Apple is now officially selling refurbished MacBook Air models with the M1 processor inside. That’s quite the turnaround, considering the computer went on sale in November of last year. Still, for folks who were interested in picking up Apple’s newest MacBook Air variant, but wanted to wait for a refurbished model, the wait is over.

Apple’s offering a discount of $150. The 15% discount is roughly what Apple typically strikes from the standard price tag for refurbished models. Of course, the quick turnaround for the M1-equipped MacBook Air is right in line with the fact Apple started selling the M1-equipped MacBook Pro yesterday, too.

Now, as far as what’s available for the refurbished M1 MacBook Air. For the $849 price tag you can get the 8-core CPU, 7-core GPU, and 8GB of RAM. It’s available in silver, space gray, and gold. If you want 16GB of RAM, you can fork over $1,019.

As is par for the course, Apple thoroughly tested and cleaned, come with a one-year warranty from Apple, come with all of the cables and accessories, and a new box.
