The second season of Apple TV+ comedy ‘Mythic Quest’ may adopt ‘Titan’s Rift’ for the new title

Mythic Quest: Raven’s Banquet turned out to be a pretty solid comedy series for Apple TV+. But the production may be looking to change its full title for the second season.

In today’s Publication Weekly (via Apple Insider), which keeps tabs on upcoming production runs for TV and film, there’s an indication the full title of Mythic Quest will be changing for the second season. Instead of Mythic Quest: Raven’s Banquet, the new season is reportedly going to be called Mythic Quest: Titan’s Rift.

The change in title makes sense, because the first season did focus on the expansion “Raven’s Banquet” for the in-universe game Mythic Quest. The show itself is a mockumentary, designed to shine a light –with some comedic flair– on the process of developing a hugely popular video game. The potential title change could suggest that the characters in the series will be working on a new expansion for the second season.

Of course, this could also be a working title, nothing more than a placeholder in early stages of production. If that is the case, Mythic Quest would likely retain the same title it had for the first season.

With production for the second season of Mythic Quest underway, we’ll see it premiere in 2021. As long as there aren’t any delays, of course.

Did you check out the first season of the comedy series? If so, what did you think of it? Looking forward to the second season?
