Apple One bundles launch October 30; Fitness+ set to launch this quarter

Earlier this year, Apple announced a new subscription bundle option: Apple One. Specifically, this is three different bundles, each of which offering a bit more for a set price per month.

Whether or not an Apple One bundle is worth it to you is entirely dependent on the Apple services you use on a regular basis. Not every bundle is going to be the perfect fit for every iOS user out there. But that’s why there are options, and, depending on how many services you tap into, one may be the right choice for you.

Apple One bundles start at $14.95 per month. Here’s how they break down:

  • Individual includes Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, and 50GB of iCloud storage for $14.95 per month.
  • Family includes Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, and 200GB of iCloud storage for $19.95 per month, and can be shared among up to six family members.
  • Premier, where available, includes Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, Apple News+, Apple Fitness+, and 2TB of iCloud storage for $29.95 per month, and can be shared among up to six family members.

We’ve known that Apple One bundles would launch sometime this fall, but never had an exact date. Now we do. According to Apple’s CFO, Luca Maestri, the new bundles will launch on Friday, October 30, 2020. That’s according to Mark Gurman today:

What’s more, Gurman notes that Maestri informed Emily Chang that Fitness+, it’s brand new subscription service focused on fitness and health, will launch “this quarter”. Unfortunately, there’s nothing more to go on, and we don’t have an exact launch date to circle on the calendar.

Are you planning on subscribing to an Apple One bundle? Are you looking forward to the launch of Fitness+?
