Genesis 2 – The new all-in-one jailbreak tweak you don’t want to miss

Given just how easy it is to rack up an expensive bill in the process of buying paid jailbreak tweaks these days, it’s no wonder why all-in-one jailbreak tweaks have become so popular as of late. Not only can they give you more bang for your buck, but they can also free up system sources by reducing the number of tweaks that hook into processes on your device.

In this review, we’ll be taking a closer look at a new jailbreak tweak called Genesis 2 by iOS developer ItzNebbs. Genesis 2 is the latest all-in-one extension to be released for jailbroken devices, and as you’ll soon learn, it offers and slew of powerful tools for customizing various user interfaces found throughout iOS.

In the screenshot examples above, you’ll see just a few examples of what Genesis 2 is capable of. From left to right, you’ll notice a colorized and more powerful power menu, a redesigned Lock Screen, and an augmented Control Center module system with percentages. The fun doesn’t end there; once installed, the tweak adds a dedicated preference pane to the Settings app where users can configure various other things:

Here, you can:

  • Toggle Genesis 2 on or off on demand
  • Customize the Control Center interface
  • Customize the Lock Screen interface

  • Customize the SpringBoard interface
  • Customize the Status Bar interface

For example, options that depend on another option being turned on will remain hidden until the dependency option is turned on to conserve space and simplify the preference pane for the end user.

At first glance, Genesis 2 looks like a fun and useful all-in-one add-on with a lot of options that jailbreakers should and could have a lot of fun tinkering with. Genesis 2 is available to purchase for $2.00 from the Packix repository via any package manager of your choosing and supports jailbroken iOS 13 & 14 devices.
