Today, Apple announced that it is now accepting new applications for its Entrepreneur Camp.
On Monday, Apple announced via its Developer Portal that it is now accepting applications from Black founders and developers for its Entrepreneur Camp. Apple launched the camp back in January of 2019, and, since then, has opened applications to a select number of people. Today, it’s welcoming even more people into the program.
Apple Entrepreneur Camp supports underrepresented founders and developers as they build the next generation of cutting-edge apps and helps form a global network that encourages the pipeline and longevity of these entrepreneurs in technology.
Per the announcement, Apple says applications are now open for the first “cohort for Black founders and developers”, which will run between February 16 and February 25, 2021. The company says that attendees will receive “code-level guidance, mentorship, and inspiration with unprecedented access to Apple engineers and leaders”.
The announcement today also says that applications will close on November 30, 2020.
