Jailbreak tweaks of the week: AppButton, Crystal, MagSafe, and more…

It seems like jailbreak tweak development has slowed down recently in anticipation of an iOS & iPadOS 14 jailbreak that extends out to more than just A8 to A9X devices. This is normal after a major software update around this time each year, and we expect that things will bounce back eventually. Fortunately, this gives jailbreak tweak developers more time to become inspired, plan ideas, and lastly, bring them to fruition.

In this roundup, we’ll discuss all the latest jailbreak tweak releases from Monday, October 12th to Sunday, October 18th. As always, we’ll start by showcasing our favorite releases first and then wrap things up with an outline of everything else afterward.

Our favorite releases this week

AppButton – FREE

AppButton is a new jailbreak tweak that makes it easier to switch between recently used apps with an easy-to-invoke interface that responds to tap and drag gestures.

You can learn more about AppButton and how it works in our full review.

Crystal – FREE

AirPods Pro

Crystal is a newly released jailbreak tweak that automatically switches a connected pair of AirPods Pro between active noise cancellation and transparency mode depending on the current volume level. The user gets to designate the volume level, of course.

You can learn more about Crystal and how it works in our full review.

MagSafe – FREE

One of the new features of the new iPhone 12 & 12 Pro lineup is support for MagSafe accessories and chargers. Perhaps unsurprisingly, this also gives the iPhone a new charging animation. MagSafe is a new jailbreak tweak that brings this charging animation to pwned iOS 13 devices.

You can learn more about MagSafe and where you can get it in our full review.
