ShowMe assist, Magnetic, Radiodeck, and other apps to check out this week

Apps of the week

In this week’s episode of our Apps of the Week roundup we have an interesting new tele-assisting app, a powerful list manager, and an international radio client. And as always, we’ve selected two great new games for you to check out.

ShowMe assist

This is a super interesting concept. ShowMe makes it possible for a person, no matter where, to help another person using natural human behavior such as pointing and gesturing on top of a live video stream. They point their phone’s camera at the problem, and video of your hand overlays their video, so you can point things out in real time.

There are apps for iPhone, iPad and Mac, and you can use the app as much as you want for free. Unlock additional features with Magnetic+.

Radiodeck

If you’ve been looking for a way to discover new music, Radiodeck is here to help. It offers access to thousands of radio stations from around the world with features like TimeShift, Sleep timer, live recording, and more. I know this isn’t a new app, and there are some IAPs involved, but I thought this could help spice up your Labor Day cookout this weekend.

Ball Meets World

Now onto something much simpler. Don’t let the low-level graphics fool you, this game is actually pretty fun. You control a ball using your finger as you avoid obstacles, jump ramps and all around try to make it through various obstacle courses. Think a super simplistic version of Fall Guys. Yeah, that’s pretty much it.
