This tweak adds a seconds indicator to the Status Bar’s time display

If you’re anything like me and you’d rather see more information than less, then you probably wouldn’t mind having a seconds indicator in your iPhone’s Status Bar-based time display.

Apple doesn’t provide an option for the aforementioned scenario out of the box, but by installing a newly released and free jailbreak tweak dubbed TimeSeconds by iOS developer Netskao, you can circumvent the controlling tech giant and add this feature to the Status Bar all by yourself.

The screenshot example above shows you precisely how TimeSeconds looks once installed. The seconds indicator simply appears to the right of the minutes in the Status Bar’s digital time display, separated by a second colon. The result looks about as stock as you can get, matching the aesthetic of the existing time display’s font and size.

As you might come to expect, the seconds indicator updates every second in real time.

TimeSeconds doesn’t come with any options to configure, and it really doesn’t need any. Simply installing the tweak brings you the functionality shown above with no additional quirks or complications. To remove the seconds indicator, one would simply uninstall the tweak.

If you’re interested in trying TimeSeconds out for yourself, then you can download it for free from the BigBoss repository via your favorite package manager. The tweak supports jailbroken iOS 13 devices.
