Jailbreak tweaks of the week: Chusma, Glow, HSWidgets, Sentinel, and more…

Another week, another jailbreak tweak-centric roundup intended to help you trick out your pwned handset to its furthest extent.

This roundup will encompass all the latest jailbreak tweaks we’ve shown you from Monday, June 15th to Sunday, June 21st. As usual, we’ll kick things off by discussing our favorite releases first and then wrap things up with an outline of the rest afterward.

Our favorite releases this week

Chusma – FREE

Apple’s ‘Find My’ service is intended to be used as a way to find your lost devices or to keep track of your closest friends and family. But do you ever really know when you’re being tracked? Probably not.

A newly released and free jailbreak tweak called Chusma solves this problem by displaying a push notification when someone begins tracking your device via Apple’s ‘Find My’ service.

You can learn more about Chusma and where you can get it in our full review.

Glow – $2.79

Glow is a brand-new take on an always-on display experience for jailbroken iPhones. Like many other always-on display tweaks before it, Glow shows pertinent information at a glance when the handset is locked, including the date, time, and battery level. As a bonus, it can display fun and quirky animations related to missed notifications and charging status.

Each of Glow’s widgets are configurable and can be enabled or disabled on demand. Users can even save preferred profiles to revert back to later on.

Those interested in learning more about Glow and where they can get it should read our full review.

HSWidgets – FREE

Apple lets you have at least some widgets on your iPhone or iPad via the Today page, but these widgets aren’t nearly as integrated with the Home Screen as they are on other smartphone platforms.

HSWidgets is a free and attractive tweak that lets you add custom and Today widgets directly to your Home Screen. You can even add blank spaces between your app icons with it.

You can learn more about HSWidgets and where you can get it in our full review.

Location Faker – FREE

One of the top things jailbreakers like to do right off the bat is spoof their handset’s location to trick apps into thinking they’re somewhere they aren’t. Unfortunately, it can be challenging to find a solution that works consistently.

Location Faker is a new jailbreak tweak that can do this on the latest version of iOS 13. Upon entering the coordinates that you wish to spoof as your location, it does a fine job of making all apps on your handset think that you’re in that particular location.

You can learn more about Location Faker and how it works in our full review.

Sentinel – FREE

It doesn’t feel good when your battery dies, and it’s even worse when you’re jailbroken because you’ll need a computer to get re-jailbroken after your handset reboots.

Sentinel is a jailbreak tweak that prevents this from happening by putting your iPhone into an ultra-power-saving state called hibernation. It’s more advanced than Low Power Mode and can hold you over until you get near a charger.

You can learn more about Sentinel and how it can benefit your handset in our full review.
