Apple seeds second beta of watchOS 6.2.8 to developers

Apple is moving right along with the latest update for the Apple Watch, pushing another beta seed of the incoming software.

On Wednesday, Apple seeded the second beta of watchOS 6.2.8 to developers. This prerelease software arrives after Apple launched watchOS 6.2.5 to the public not too long ago, and watchOS 6.2.6 soon after.

This update will likely be minor in scope, focusing on behind-the-scenes tweaks and general improvements. It will more than likely not include any major forward facing new features for the end user. However, if new features are discovered in the software we will update this post accordingly.

The prerelease software is available now for registered developers. To update the Apple Watch, the Apple Watch must have 50% battery, must be connected to its charger, and be connected to the iPhone as well. The new software can be downloaded and installed by opening the Watch app and selecting General –> Software Update and following the onscreen instructions.

If there are any new discoveries made in this latest beta, we will update this post accordingly.
