eBay for iOS implements the private Sign in with Apple option, adds other new features

eBay today refreshed its iPhone and iPad app on the App Store with a fresh coat of paint along with Apple’s private “Sign in with Apple” option and other improvements worth checking out.

Bumped to version 6.0, the app has been overhauled for easier navigation and better usability, but that doesn’t mean the team hasn’t implemented any new features — quite the contrary.

For starters, you can now sign up for eBay with the privacy-preserving “Sign in with Apple” option without having to reveal your real email address. This is in addition to the app’s existing sign-in options: Facebook, Google and email.

Sellers will love a background removal feature that’ll make their product images look better. A new store finder lets you find your favorite stores without leaving the app. Other improvements include finding items by snapping a photo or scanning the barcode, getting real-time shipping notifications and improving Saved Searches and Search Filtering.

eBay says that Dark Mode support is “coming soon”.

eBay for iOS is a free download from App Store.
