Apple seeds first watchOS 6.2.5 beta to developers

Apple seeded the first developer betas of iOS 13.4.5 and iPadOS 13.4.5 earlier this week, and now the company is seeding the first beta of watchOS‘s next update.

Apple on Wednesday seeded the first beta of watchOS 6.2.5 to developers. This is just one week after Apple officially released watchOS 6.2 to the public. As such, it’s more than likely that this software will not have a whole host of new features added to the mix for the Apple Watch owner. Instead, watchOS 6.2.5 will probably focus on behind the scenes fixes and overall improvements.

However, if there are any new features discovered in the latest software, we will update this post accordingly.

To update, registered developers must use the Apple Watch app on the connected iPhone, then tap General –> Software Update. The Apple Watch must have at least 50% battery life, be connected to its charger, and also be paired and within range of the iPhone.
