Apple releases ProRes RAW beta for Windows 10

Apple is bringing a beta version of ProRes RAW to Windows, making it possible to watch specific video files in select apps.

On Monday, Apple released a beta version of ProRes RAW for Windows. With the new beta, it means that ProRes RAW ProRes RAW HQ video files can be watched in compatible applications while using Windows, Microsoft‘s desktop operating system. There are several different Adobe apps that can support the beta, according to Apple:

•  Adobe After Effects (Beta)
•  Adobe Media Encocder (Beta)
•  Adobe Premiere (Beta)
•  Adobe Premiere Rush (Beta)

The file size is pretty small at just 737 KB. You’ll need Windows 10 (64-bit) for full system requirements to run the beta.
