Voix, Fabula, Noise and other apps to check out this weekend

Apps of the week

In this edition of our Apps of the Week roundup we have a voice auto-tuner, an easy-to-use animation tool, and an app for making a meditation playlist. And as always, we’ve selected two great new games for you to check out.

voix

Here’s a great app for bored and aspiring creatives. It’s call voix, and it promises to bring ‘professional vocal engineering to everyone.’ The app works like most audio/visual effects app you’ve tried. Just select the tone you want, press record and start singing. The filters actually sound great, but as you’d expect, much of the app is hampered by IAPs.

Fabula

Fabula is another app that can help you scratch that creative itch. It’s an easy-to-use tool that lets you play around with different animation types and adjust things like delay, duration, damping, velocity, shape and more. You can then view the underlying code of your animation and share it. Supports multi-window, dark mode and even cursor on iPad.

Noise

Noise enables you to create personalized ambient sounds for relaxing meditation and better sleep. The app features a high quality sound library full of custom, looped sounds that you can mix and adjust to your liking. You can save your creations as Mixtapes and then play them in the background on your iOS device or on your favorite AirPlay device.
