If you’ve been wanting to get your hands on a new app to shoot vintage video, the makers of Moment lenses might have an option for you.
Moment has made a name for itself for not only its accessory lenses for iPhones, but also its iOS photo editing app as well. And now the company has another iOS app to share, this one focused on folks who like to shoot video. It’s called RTRO, and it’s designed to capture video clips with a more vintage (or retro, if you will) feel to them.
RTRO is designed to feature a 60-second video timeline, which can be created with a variety of different short video clips. You’ll be able to share those clips to TikTok and Instagram Stories, too. Moment says the app was built to be intuitive and simple to use.
Retro frame rates are included in the package, and more advanced options like real-time subject tracking are also present.
Moment is free for its basic features, including three vintage filters with adjustable intensity. It will support the front and rear camera(s), too.
However, you can choose to unlock its full capabilities for either $1.99 per month, or $14.99 per year. If you decide to pay, you’ll unlock the retro frame rates, the ability to remove the watermark, and the real-time subject tracking.
