Apple publishes detailed technical papers for Mac Pro and Pro Display XDR

Mac Pro and Pro Display XDR

There is a lot of technology baked into things like the new Mac Pro and Pro Display XDR. So it’s not surprising that Apple would like to show some of that off.

Or all of that off, really. Apple has today published new, detailed technical papers for both the Mac Pro and the Pro Display XDR. The Mac Pro overview and the Pro Display XDR overview (via (9to5Mac) are available to view and/or download as PDFs, featuring ultra detailed rundowns of the key features and components of each device.

The Mac Pro, for instance, not only talks about the design of the new powerhouse desktop computer, but goes into detail on why Apple decided to go down that route. It lists technical specs from the different variants, and goes deep into the overall performance of the machine for good measure.

Meanwhile, you can find the same level of detail in the technical paper for the Pro Display XDR, including tech specifications, points about reference mode, timing controller, display accuracy, and much, much more.

None of this information has been kept a secret for the most part up to this point. Apple has generally gone over most of the broad strokes with both the Mac Pro and the Pro Display XDR, but it’s handy for some individuals to have this information in a single resource.
