Apple seeds second betas of iOS 13.4, iPadOS 13.4, watchOS 6.2, tvOS 13.4 and macOS Catalina 10.15.4 to developers

Apple is moving right along with the next major update to iOS and iPadOS, as well as the next software updates to the other operating systems as well.

Before the public launch of those updates, however, the company is seeding beta builds for developers (and public beta testers as well). On Wednesday, Apple officially seeded the second betas of iOS 13.4, iPadOS 13.4, watchOS 6.2, tvOS 13.4, and macOS Catalina 10.15.4 to developers. This version of iOS comes with a variety of new features and changes.

That includes the discovery of a new “CarKey” API which will let iPhones and Apple Watches unlock, lock, and start NFC-equipped automobiles. In addition to that, iOS 13.4 also welcomes nine new Memoji sticker types, a redesign of the Mail toolbar, Screen Time Communication Limits for macOS, the return of iCloud Drive folder sharing, and, finally, along with the beta seed of Xcode 11.4, developers can now bundle apps into a single purchase across iOS and macOS.

Developers with registered profiles can install the latest beta right now for iOS and iPadOS. It can be downloaded from the Apple Developer center.

The same can be said for the first developer betas of macOS Catalina 10.15.4, watchOS 6.2, and tvOS 13.4. Each of these new versions are available now for developers. If any new features for the end user are discovered in this latest beta, we will update this post accordingly.
