Zebra v1.0.7 fixes a crash when sorting repositories alphabetically

If you use Zebra on your jailbroken iPhone or iPad, then you may want to launch your preferred package manager and refresh your sources.

Zebra has received a fresh update this Wednesday afternoon, and if you’ve been keeping track, today’s update officially brings the app up to version 1.0.7.

According to the change log published on the project’s official GitHub page, Zebra v1.0.7 incorporates a fix for a crash that could occur when attempting to sort installed repositories by alphabetical order. The crash would purportedly occur only if one of the repositories exhibited an ‘invalid name.’

The developer doesn’t go into much detail in the change log about what defined an invalid repository name, but we can only speculate that special characters or the lack of characters overall could have been to blame. With today’s newfangled crash mitigations, the content of the repository’s name no longer seems to matter.

Like other updates before today’s Zebra v1.0.7 is available from the official Zebra repository. Those who’ve never used Zebra before and would like to try it can follow our step-by-step tutorial for getting it on their jailbroken device.
