Jailbreak tweaks of the week: Kalm, Mot, Spectrum, and more…

Got a jailbroken iOS handset at your disposal, but aren’t sure what you should do with it? We’ve got you covered.

This roundup will encompass all the latest jailbreak tweak releases from Monday, January 20th to Sunday January 26th. As usual, we’ll kick things off by discussing our favorites and then wrap things up with an outline of the rest afterward.

Our favorite releases this week

AutoHideHomeBarX – FREE

AutoHideHomeBarX is a clever jailbreak tweak that automatically hides the Home Bar when it isn’t in use.

All modern iPhones and iPads have replaced the physical Home Bottom with this software-based alternative, but why have it around when you aren’t using it?

You can learn more about AutoHideHomeBarX in our full review.

Kalm – $1.99

Kalm is a beautiful new Lock screen interface for jailbroken handsets that displays pertinent information front-and-center without the need to tap or swipe on anything.

Among the information it displays is Weather data up next Calendar data, all nicely placed alongside the date and time.

You can learn more about Kalm in our full review.

Mot – $2.49

For those who like keeping a stern eye on the weather throughout the day, a new jailbreak tweak called Mot ensures that you’ll always be in the loop of any upcoming rainstorms.

Mot adds a weather forecast directly to your Lock screen, just beneath the date and time. With it, you can see the highs and lows for the week and what the weather conditions are expected to be for each day.

You can learn more about Mot in our full review.

Spectrum – FREE

If colorizing the iOS interface is something you enjoy doing, then you won’t want to miss a free release called Spectrum.

With this tweak, you can configure custom colors for a plethora of individual user interface elements in iOS.

You can learn more about Spectrum and what it can do for you in our full review.
