Watch a new trailer for “Mythic Quest: Raven’s Banquet”, Apple’s new comedy series about game developers

Following the first trailer for “”Mythic Quest: Raven’s Banquet” that dropped ten days ago, Apple on Friday released a new featurette hinting that its upcoming live-action comedy series about game developers could become the next “Silicon Valley”, if executed properly.

Titled “Builder of Worlds”, the 68-second video introduces Ian Grimm, who is one of the characters of the imaginary game that the show’s video game development studio is working on. It’s quite amusing, I’ve embedded it right ahead so give it a quick watch.

Apple promoted the show at the PAX South earlier this week.

Co-created by Rob McElhenney, Charlie Day and Megan Ganz, “Mythic Quest: Raven’s Banquet” follows a team of video game developers as they navigate the challenges of running a popular online multiplayer video game.

From Apple’s description:

Meet the team behind the biggest multiplayer video game of all time. But in a workplace focused on building worlds, molding heroes, and creating legends, the most hard-fought battles don’t occur in the game—they happen in the office.

And here’s the inaugural trailer for the show.

You can watch “Mythic Quest: Raven’s Banquet” beginning February 7 in the Apple TV app on a supported device with an Apple TV+ subscription.

The series is produced by the Lionsgate/3 Arts Entertainment venture and Ubisoft.
