Every Mac wallpaper from Cheetah to Catalina, combined into a single image

Happy Friday, everyone! Here’s something wonderful you don’t get to see every day…

The Next Web, via 9to5Mac, today spotted an exquisitely designed image tweeted out by iOS theme developer Jenny Vanille on Christmas Day. But what’s so special about it, you may bee wondering. Well, Jenny took it upon herself to combine every Mac wallpaper from Cheetah to Catalina into a single image and the result is a psychedelic masterpiece.

The composite is comprised of every official Mac wallpaper from Mac OS X 10.0 Cheetah to the latest macOS 10.15 Catalina. “I highly doubt that anyone will ever use this,” Vanilla tweeted.

If you’re anything like me, you probably tend to forget about all those gorgeous Mac wallpapers that came before the current macOS version. If so, perhaps you should set this composite as the new default macOS background on your Mac.

You can download a 5K version of the wallpaper via Jenny’s Google Drive.

“It’s phenomenal. It’s like a magic eye painting,” reads The Next Web piece. “Or one of those weird drawings an AI created. In other words, it’s art.”

But she didn’t stop there as her Google Drive includes several composites made by combining every single official iOS wallpaper up to iOS 13, and you can see three different versions of that wallpaper right ahead, including one with all the iPhone 11 wallpapers combined.
