Satechi launches a 108-watt desktop charger with four USB ports and fast-charge support

Satechi makes versatile chargers and their latest arrival is no exception. Rated at 108 watts of power, it supports USB-C Power Delivery and is their most robust on-the-go charger to date.

A versatile charger with plenty of power

Here are the power ports you get with this charger:

  • 1x USB-C Power Delivery at 90W
  • 1x 1x USB-C Power Delivery at 18W
  • 2x USB-A ports at 12W total

The 90W port has insufficient wattage to charge a 16-inch MacBook Pro at full speed (Apple’s new notebook ships with a 96-watt charger) without sharing power between ports.

However, unlike the previous 75-watt charger from Satechi that does indeed share power between its fast-charging ports rated at 60W and 18W, this new accessory features plenty of juice to simultaneously charge a 15-inch MacBook Pro (it ships with an 87-watt charger) at full speed and your iPhone/iPad also at full speed (fast charge support on iOS devices requires an 18-watt adapter) — all without downgrading power to either port.

And with two additional USB-A ports rated the same as Satechi’s 75-watt travel charger, this new high-speed power bank from Satechi can easily power up to four devices at once. It’s arguably one of the best solutions to take with you while on the go.

The components are housed in a heat-resistant enclosure and the product complies with CE, ETL, USBIF and FCC standards. The charger supports a broad voltage input range (100-240V) and features a compact design to easily store in your luggage or carry-on.
