Earlier this year, Apple News launched a dedicated resource to cover the Democratic presidential candidates, and now, leading into 2020, Apple News is doubling down on coverage.
Apple on Monday officially announced that it will be teaming up with ABC News to provide coverage for the 2020 United States presidential election. Key moments will be covered over the course of the year, including some debates, as well as including a plethora of other elements that will provide even more context and information.

Apple News’ collaborative coverage of the 2020 presidential election will begin on Friday, February 7, as the service co-hosts the Democratic primary debate in New Hampshire. The Apple News app will provide live-streaming coverage of the debate as it happens, along with video provided by ABC News. The app will also provide infographics, polling data from FiveThirtyEight, and analysis.

The team up between Apple News and ABC News will extend beyond the Democratic debate, though. It will continue past Super Tuesday, will include both the Democratic and Republican National Conventions, general election debates, into election night, and finally the 2021 presidential inauguration.
