Jailbreak tweaks of the week: Maple 2, Watermelon, and more…

The checkra1n team is currently developing the first public jailbreak for iOS 13, and for those already taking advantage of the public beta during its initial public testing phases, we’d totally understand if you wanted to find some interesting jailbreak tweaks to trick out your newly liberated handset. The same goes for those who are already enjoying jailbreaks on Chimera, Electra, or unc0ver.

In this roundup, we’ll talk about all the latest jailbreak tweaks released from Monday, December 2nd to Sunday, December 8th. As usual, we’ll kick things off by talking about our favorites first and then wrap things up with an outline of the rest afterward.

Our favorite releases this week

Maple 2 – $2.99

Apple left a lot of us hanging when they cancelled the AirPower charging mat project, and this also meant ditching the incredible charging animations that Apple intended to bring to iOS when using AirPower. Fortunately, those with a jailbreak can take full advantage of similar animations with the help of a jailbreak tweak called Maple 2.

As shown in the screenshot examples above, Maple 2 incorporates both charging animations and charging banners for any nearby Bluetooth devices, including the Apple Watch and AirPods. These banners and animations are configurable.

Watermelon – $1.49

Apple Watch complications are both useful and fun, so why limit them to the Apple Watch?

Watermelon is a new jailbreak tweak that brings your favorite Apple Watch complications directly to your iPhone’s Lock screen, enabling a quick glance at useful information when needed. Users can easily customize which ones appear and which ones don’t by tapping and holding on the widget.
