Mario Kart Tour, YouTube top Apple’s most downloaded iOS apps and games

Earlier today, Apple revealed the “Best of 2019” awards for apps and games. And now the company has revealed some informative top 10 lists for the same categories within the App Store.

On Tuesday, Apple revealed the top ten most downloaded apps and games, in both the free and paid categories, for iOS devices. Interestingly enough, it’s Mario Kart Tour from Nintendo, the game that launched just at the end of September, that reached the top spot for free games in 2019. Otherwise, the rest of the top 10 list is probably what you’d expect.

I’ll just break it down into lists:

  4. Call of Duty Mobile
  5. BitLife Life Simulator
  6. Polysphere – Art of Puzzle

Not a lot of surprises in there, especially if you keep tabs on what’s popular in the iOS App Store. Still, it is pretty crazy to hear that Nintendo’s Mario Kart Tour had such a ridiculously successful run right after it launched.
