Spotify’s Sleep Timer rolling out to iOS users

If you listen to Spotify while you’re falling asleep and have gotten used to the fact it’s (probably) still playing by the time you wake up, iOS users will finally be able to change that.

Beginning today, as noted by Engadget, the Sleep Timer feature for Spotify is finally rolling out to iOS users. With it, users will be able to select a countdown timer that will automatically, and gradually, fade out the music over a set period of time. That starts at five minutes and can go up to one hour.

To get it to work, you’ll need to start your music, and then select the three dots in the right corner of the screen. Scroll down until you see the “Sleep Timer” option, choose it, and then select the length of time for your timer.

The original report notes that some folks might not see the feature just yet, but Spotify says that it will be rolling out globally beginning today. So if you don’t already see it, stay tuned because it should pop up shortly.

Is this a feature you think Apple Music should add?
