Jailbreak tweaks of the week: BadgeMe, Haptigram, ScreenSafe, and more

There’s been so much excitement in the last couple of weeks with regard to the checkm8 bootrom exploit that we can’t wait to see what becomes of it. On the other hand, those already jailbroken with Chimera or unc0ver will be happy to know that we continuously report on the best of the newest jailbreak tweak releases each day.

In this roundup, we’ll talk about all the jailbreak tweaks released from Monday, November 4th to Sunday, November 10th. As usual, we’ll kick things off by talking about our favorites and then wrap things up with an outline of the rest afterward.

Our favorite releases this week

BadgeMe – $1.99

iOS’ notification badges have looked nearly the same for more than a decade, and it doesn’t look like Apple has any plans in the near future to let users customize their appearance.

If you’re tired of waiting for an official solution and you have a jailbroken handset at your disposal, then you’ll want to check out a jailbreak tweak called BadgeMe, as it lets you change a bevy of parameters regarding their appearance and behavior.

ScreenSafe – $1.00

ScreenSafe is a fun and quirky jailbreak tweak that brings a traditional screensaver experience to the jailbroken iOS platform.

While screensavers aren’t particularly necessary, they can be aesthetically pleasing and assist with screen burn-in prevention. This is especially the case with OLED displays, which are now present on most of Apple’s flagships.
