Shadow of the Tomb Raider Definitive Edition comes to Mac

Shadow of the Tomb RaiderFeral Interactive announced Tuesday the release of Shadow of the Tomb Raider Definitive Edition for Mac and Linux, marking the culmination of the trilogy that describes famed video game adventurer Lara Croft’s origin story. Feral previously brought forth the Mac and Linux versions of Tomb Raider and Rise of the Tomb Raider.

This installment of the trilogy pits Lara Croft in a mad race to save the world from the Mayan apocalypse as she travels from Cozumel to the hidden city of Paititi, deep in the Peruvian jungle. She and her friend Jonah must battle the paramilitary organization Trinity as they seek to halt an event known as the Cleansing from destroying the world.

The Definitive Edition includes all seven DLC challenge tombs, all downloadable weapons, outfits, and skills made available for the original game’s release. It’s M rated by the ESRB.

Mac system requirements call for macOS 10.15 and the following hardware:

All 15” MacBook Pros released since Late 2016
All 13” MacBook Pros released since 2016
All 21.5” iMacs released since 2017
All 27” iMacs released since Late 2014
All 27″ iMac Pros released since Late 2017
All Mac Pros released since Late 2013

The game also supports external GPUs (eGPUs) on Macs which support them. Apple has details on how to get an eGPU working with your Mac.
