Jailbreak tweaks of the week: IconTweak, PureFocus, SafariElectro, and more

Having a jailbroken iPhone or iPad means that you can modify that device outside of Apple’s stock parameters, but it’s not always easy to know where you should start.

This convenient week-end roundup will encompass all the latest jailbreak tweaks released from Monday, October 28th to Sunday, November 3rd. As always, we’ll kick things off by discussing our favorites and then wrap things up with an outline of the rest afterward.

Our favorite releases this week

AlwaysLatestTimelineTwitter – FREE

I really hate how the official Twitter app always tries to revert me back to ‘Top’ Tweets instead of ‘Latest’ Tweets in my News Feed. But a new jailbreak tweak called AlwaysLatestTimelineTwitter fixes this by preventing it from ever happening again.

PureFocus – $1.50

It’s really easy to get distracted on a smartphone, especially with all the apps you can open in an instant. But if you’re trying to stay productive, then a new jailbreak tweak called PureFocus can help.

PureFocus helps by locking you out of certain apps and websites for a predefined amount of time to ensure that you can finish your important work before playing around.

You can learn more about PureFocus and where to get it in our full review.

Safari Electro – $1.00

Mobile Safari is excellent on the iPad, but it leaves a lot to be desired on the iPhone because it lacks many of the iPad’s useful desktop-class web browsing features.

Safari Electro is here to help, as it augments the Safari web browsing experience on any iOS device with features can benefit power users and regular users alike. For example, it brings a Favorites Bar and switcher-based page selection interface to the iPhone.
