Apple yesterday launched its original video streaming service, dubbed Apple TV+. Wondering if your gadget is on the list of supported Apple TV+ devices? You’ve come to the right place!

About Apple TV+

Apple TV+ released commercially November 1, 2019 via the TV app and on the web.

The service is available in over a hundred countries and regions. For the full list of markets where Apple TV+ is currently available, please peruse Apple’s support document.

Apple TV+ is priced at five bucks per month after a free 7-day trial.

The TV app is available on select smart TVs by major vendors, including Samsung, Sony, LG and Vizio.

The service strictly carries Apple’s original programming, not licensed shows or movies from third-party providers. Apple has promised to subtitle or dub its shows in nearly 40 languages, including subtitles for the deaf and hard-of-hearing (SDH) or closed captions.

According to the Cupertino technology giant, Apple TV+ series and movies will also be available with audio descriptions in eight languages.

Compatible Apple TV+ devices

Here’s where you can subscribe to and watch Apple TV+:

  • iPhone or iPod touch with iOS 12.3 or later
  • iPad with iPadOS
  • Mac running the macOS Catalina 10.15 software or later
  • Apple TV 4K or Apple TV HD with tvOS 12.3 or later
