The DoBox Pro can turn your iPad Pro into a laptop and a docking station

With iPadOS, Apple is making changes to the tablet software to give it a more laptop-like experience. Like mouse and trackpad support, for instance.

Which means that iPad Pro accessories can start offering built-in trackpads. We’ve already seen such a thing with the Libra keyboard, which made the iPad Pro look a lot like a MacBook thanks to the keyboard design and built-in trackpad. And now we have another option called the DoBox Pro.

This is slightly different from the Libra keyboard, especially in the way that the DoBox Pro connects to the iPad Pro. Instead of going wireless, there is a dedicated USB-C cable that will directly connect the accessory to the tablet.

The keyboard itself features back-lit keys and a built-in 16,000mAh battery. It fits both the 11- and 12.9-inch iPad Pro models. It also features expandable storage, giving owners the ability to upgrade the internal storage up to 2TB. It features a built-in trackpad as well.

But one of the biggest draws of the DoBox Pro for some potential customers is the fact it’s also a docking station. On the back of the unit there are various ports, including the USB-C port, a slot for a microSD card, 3.5mm headphone jack, USB 3.0 ports, HDMI, and even an Ethernet port.

Pre-orders for the DoBox Pro are available right now. If you pre-order you can get the DoBox Pro for $199.
