Apple showcases collision testing and triple-camera system in iPhone 11 Pro in new videos

Apple announced its newest iPhones earlier this week, which means it’s about time to start promoting the new lineup of devices that officially went up for pre-order today.

On Friday, Apple published a pair of videos to its official YouTube channel. Both are interesting in their own right, and certainly lighthearted. The first, entitled, “It’s tough out there”, shows off collision testing for an iPhone 11 Pro, as a variety of objects are thrown at the device, including food products, toys, and more, in an effort to show how tough the handset is.

Here’s the video, which measures in at just over one minute:

And Apple’s included description:

The next video is called, aptly, “Triple-camera system”. In this short video, which is almost 40 seconds long, we get to see Apple show off the Ultra Wide, Wide, and Telephoto lenses present on the back of the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max:

And the description:

Introducing the advanced triple-camera system with all new Ultra Wide, Wide and Telephoto cameras. Take photos in low-light like never before with all new Night mode.

The videos do a nice job of showcasing what Apple is trying to get across. The company says the iPhone 11 Pro is constructed from the hardest glass in a smartphone, which means that the drop tests after the phone launches will be pretty crazy.

In the end, hopefully the tough construction and the fantastic cameras just mean iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro customers are happy with their purchase in the months ahead.
