An updated version of the iOS 12-centric Chimera jailbreak tool was released by the Electra Team on Friday, officially bringing it up to version 1.3.6.

The Electra Team announced the latest update early this morning via Twitter, noting that it would improve the reliability of the Sock Puppet exploit and resolve a rare crash that could occur shortly after jailbreaking a device:

Because this update deals primarily with reliability and stability enhancements, we recommend that all Chimera users download and deploy the latest version of this jailbreak to take full advantage of all the latest improvements.

Like with all iterations of Chimera made available to the public before this one, the latest version of the jailbreak tool can be had from the Electra Team’s official Chimera website.

Aspiring Chimera users can also take advantage of our step-by-step tutorial to be walked through the process of jailbreaking any compatible device running iOS 12.0-12.3 beta or iOS 12.4
