Apple files unreleased Apple Watch, iPhone, and a Mac model numbers to Eurasian Database

As long as Apple keeps with its yearly routine, we will see new products announced in early September. And now the company may have just filed the majority of those new products with a Eurasian database.

Ahead of the September event, which has yet to be officially confirmed by Apple, the company has filed a variety of unreleased products with the Eurasian Economic Commission today. The information was first shared on Wednesday by AppleInsider.

There are more than a dozen new iPhones, all of which are running iOS 13. These are the new model numbers discovered today: A1574 and A1278. In a secondary batch, these are the new model numbers indicated in the database: A1687, A1688, A1778, A1784, A1863, A1864, A1865, A1897, A1901, A1905, A1920, A1921, A1984, A2097, A2101, A2105, A2111, A2160, A2161, A2215, A2216, A2217, A2218, A2219, A2220, A2221, A2223, A2296, and A2298.

There are a variety of different Apple Watch model numbers also registered with the Eurasian database, each running the upcoming watchOS 6. Those are: A1975, A1976, A2007, A2008, A2156, and A2157. A secondary listing has the following model numbers: A1858, A1859, A1977, A1978, A2092, and A2093

The Mac model numbers are 11 in total: A1466, A1932, A1989, A1990, A2141, A2147, A2158, A2159, A2179, A2182, and A2251.

Apple will likely show off the new iPhone models, along with the new Apple Watch variants, at the September event. Apple has been rumored to be working on a new, 16-inch MacBook Pro that could be unveiled this year as well. However, if that is indeed the case, the new laptop could be unveiled at a later date, probably sometime in October.

This type of database listing is usually a sign that new products are coming down the pipe. However, as is the case this time around, the listing can also include older Apple-branded products that are simply being updated in the filing due to running newer versions of the operating system on board.

Still, it looks like Apple is preparing for the release of new iPhones and Apple Watches, and probably a new Mac, in the very near future.

Are you planning on upgrading to a new iPhone this year?
