This edition of our Apps of the Week roundup includes an app for learning more about finance, chat rooms for fans of TV shows and movies, and a price-tracking list-maker. And as always, we’ve selected two great new games for you to check out.
Finimize
Learn about finance the same way you would a new language. Finimize provides you with all the tools to be financially savvy, in just a few minutes time. Features include a community of more than 300K users that you can learn from, live, jargon-free financial news, expert analysis on crypto and other topics, and much more.
Episode
Episode has chatrooms for over 2000 popular TV shows and movies, and is updated daily with support for new titles. The app synchronizes content so you can chat with other fans while watching your favorite shows. You’ll be able to read and chat about a movie or TV series without running into spoilers—as well as see real-time reactions from other fans.
Spend Stack
Spend Stack is a list app that can keep a to-the-penny running total. It syncs to all of your devices and collaborate on them with anyone. You can make and manage any kind of list dealing with money. Features include an intuitive interface, support for images, and built-in sales tax calculator. It’s a bit on the expensive side, but if you’re in the market for such an app, it seems worth checking out.
NeuralDraw
NeuralDraw is an AI-drawing app/game that is fun for both casual doodlers and professional artists. How does it work? You receive a prompt to draw something in 30 seconds, and as you start to sketch, the app tries to guess what your prompt was. The faster the AI guesses what you’re drawing and the more prompts you complete in one streak, the more points you can earn.
Ramped Up!
This game is called Ramped Up! and there’s really not much to say about it. It’s an arcade/runner that has you swipe your finger across the screen to guide the bouncing ball from ramp to ramp. Collect the diamonds to help complete your trophy room and make your way up the leaderboards.
