To be eligible for the back to school promotion, you will need to be a student, or a parent of a student, or faculty/staff at a K-12 or higher-education institution. Depending on the Mac or iPad product purchased, customers will be eligible for a pair of free or discounted Beats headphones.

The biggest difference this year is Apple has just launched brand new, updated versions of the MacBook Pro and MacBook Air. In both cases, Apple has updated specifications and lowered prices, which should be a nice change for students.

That’s not all, though. Apple is also extending the free trial for Apple Music for students. Now, instead of the three month trial period, students will get six months of free service to try out the music streaming platform.
