Apple seeds a revised version of the third betas of iOS 13 and iPadOS to developers

Earlier today, Apple seeded the second public betas of iOS 13 and iPadOS, and now the company is also releasing a slightly revised version of the developer beta as well.

Last week, Apple seeded the third betas of iOS 13 and iPadOS to developers. That was build 17A5522f, and now Apple has seeded a new, slightly tweaked version of the same software. This latest developer beta is build 17A5522g, and it’s available for all supported iOS devices.

(For those keeping track, the original build of iOS 13’s latest developer beta was not available for the iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus. This latest, revised version of the mobile operating system corrects that.)

However, at the time of publication, other than the slight change to the build number it is not known what Apple has changed in this revised version of the OS. Considering the minor tweak, though, it stands to reason that it’s not changing much from what was seeded to developers last week.

Still, there were some new additions made with the latest developer beta, including:

  • There is a new splash image for Apple Arcade, which is set to launch later in 2019.
  • There is a new popup screen for Screen Recordings in the Home app.
  • Split View has a small tweak, which now shows which app is actively receiving text input.

The newest version of the developer beta of iOS 13 and iPadOS is available now for registered developers.

If there are any new changes discovered in the revised version of the third developer beta of iOS 13 and iPadOS, we will update this post accordingly.
