Jailbreak tweaks of the week: Assistant+, Incoming Call LivePhoto, Shenmue, and more

With @0ptimo updating the BigBoss repository to be compatible with the Sileo package manager, and teasers coming from all the major players in the jailbreak community as of late, it’s a great time to own a pwned handset.

In this roundup, we’ll discuss all of this past week’s jailbreak tweak releases in one convenient place. As usual, we’ll kick things off by discussing our favorite releases in detail and then we’ll outline the rest of them afterward.

Our favorite releases this week

Assistant+ – $2.99

Siri seems incredibly limited in her current form, and that’s why we’re huge advocates for a newly-released jailbreak tweak called Assistant+.

With this tweak, you can make Siri a whole lot more useful by implementing more support for advanced queries, third-party apps, and even custom replies.

You can learn more about Assistant+ and how it works in our full review.

Incoming Call LivePhoto(A12 Support) – $4.99

If you’re looking for a way to make iOS’ incoming call interface more interesting, then a newly-released jailbreak tweak called Incoming Call LivePhoto(A12 Support) is a great place to start.

Just as the name implies, this tweak lets you replace the bland incoming call background with a Live Photo of your choice. It can be configured to loop until you answer the call or to play only once.

The tweak is a bit on the pricey side, but if you’d like to learn more about how to get it, then you may want to take a peek at our full review.

Shenmue – FREE

iOS makes it so easy to forget about your upcoming Calendar events, and for that reason, we’re excited to recommend a newly-released jailbreak tweak called Shenmue.

This tweak makes upcoming Calendar events persistent on your Lock screen, ensuring that you get a solid reminder about them up until they’re over with. The persistent Calendar widget is fully-customizable.

You can learn more about why Shenmue is such a great add-on in our full review.
