Jailbreak tweaks of the week: Axon, ImageCorrect, InstallProtect12, and more

The jailbreak tweak release schedule has slowed down a little bit since the WWDC 2019 Keynote, presumably because developers are absorbing all the new features to come and pondering about how these ideas can be used to improve existing versions of iOS. That said, we expect that releases will pick up at their normal pace again soon enough.

In this roundup, we’ll discuss all of this past week’s jailbreak tweak releases in one convenient place. As usual, we’ll kick things off by discussing our favorite releases in detail and then we’ll outline the rest of them afterward.

Our favorite releases this week

Axon – FREE

Priority Hub was a long-time favorite among jailbreakers because of how it streamlined the Lock screen’s notification experience. The tweak has been long overdue for a remake for Apple’s latest hardware and software configurations, and so here it is… enter Axon.

Like the original Priority Hub tweak, Axon sorts Lock screen notifications on a per-app basis, making it easier to read through your most important notifications first. The tweak comes with settings to improve the aesthetics and functionality at your pleasure.

ImageCorrect – FREE

iOS comes with a native text replacement feature, but haven’t you ever wished that iOS supported something similar for images? It’d be perfect for quickly entering those prized rage faces and memes that you’ve been saving to your photo library for years…

Well now the wait is over with the release of a new free jailbreak tweak called ImageCorrect. With it, you can configure text shortcuts and assign them specific images. Once entered, these text strings transform into images, making it easier than ever to implement them in your text.

InstallProtect12 – FREE

InstallProtect12 is a no-brainer tweak that we think all jailbreakers with compatible devices should install at their earliest convenience.

With it, you can necessitate biometric authentication to install or uninstall jailbreak tweaks from three of the most popular package managers, including Cydia, Sileo, and Zebra. This is particularly useful for preventing software tampering, as no one will be able to manage your jailbreak packages but you.
